Discuss general aesthetics and functional aspects with the client.
Phase III
Design Development (DD)
Refine the schematic design into more detailed drawings.
Specify materials & finishes
Develop more accurate floor plans, elevations, and sections.
Coordinate with engineers for structural, electrical, and mechanical aspects.
Begin cost estimation based on design details.
Phase IV
Construction Documents (CD)
Produce detailed technical drawings for construction.
Finalize all architectural drawings and specifications.
Prepare technical details for contractors and material specifications.
Coordinate drawings with all consultants (structural, MEP, Landscape).
Phase V
Project Supervision
Oversee construction to ensure design intent is followed.
Conduct site visits to monitor progress.
Answer contractor questions and provide additional details as needed.
Review shop drawings and material samples.
Manage any changes or issues during construction.
